We hope you’ll be able to join us for our last Holiday Market of the season in Town Park this Saturday, Dec. 1st, from 11 am – 3 pm. If you pre-ordered a pesticide-free tree and/or wreath and didn’t pick it up last week, please plan to pick it up on Saturday. The forecast doesn’t look great, but brave the rain and do some Holiday shopping if you can! I was super impressed with the variety last week and I’m sure you will be too! Bring a crock pot of (preferably warm) chili to the Market by 10:45 am if you’d like to enter our chili competition. It’s free to enter. This is a people’s choice contest, so we need you to purchase a $5 ticket to taste all of the entries-usually around 10- and vote for the winners. Thanks to Skyline Bank for their continuing support and Ward Manor for sponsoring the day and all the prizes! $100 for 1st, $30 for 2nd and $20 for 3rd place. You can also enjoy a regular Farmers Market with kid’s activities (stay tuned for updates, the Kid’s Corner will be open if the forecast clears up). Be sure to stay for the Christmas parade-yes we’ll be in it! and all the fun Town activities with Santa and more.

Please join us for our upcoming Holiday Markets in Town Park. The first, happening on Green Friday, will be this Friday, Nov. 23rd from 11-3. Pick up your PRE-ORDERED Christmas tree and wreaths. Enjoy a regular Farmers Market from 11 am to 3 pm with free kids activities and some new craft vendors.

The next Holiday Market will be our Chili Cook Off Day happening on Dec. 1st from 11-3. Bring a crock pot of (preferably warm) chili to the Market by 11 am. It’s free to enter. $5 allows the public to taste all the entries-usually around 10- and vote for the People’s Choice. Thanks to Ward Manor for sponsoring the day and all the prizes! $100 for 1st, $30 for 2nd and $20 for 3rd place. You can also pick up your PRE-ORDERED trees and wreaths. If you haven’t placed your pesticide-free Christmas tree and/or wreath order, be sure to get your order in before the Market closes tomorrow night at 8 pm. This is a fundraiser for the Farmers Market, and we really appreciate all of your support! I’m sure you know this by now, but just in case, we will NOT have extra trees and wreaths for purchase at the markets, you MUST pre-order this year! The Market also has a lot of fun options for your Thanksgiving table this week!

Remember our first Holiday Market of the season will be happening this Friday, Nov. 23rd, in Town Park from 11 am – 3 pm. Bring the kids out for free activities, pick up your trees and support your friends and neighbors this Holiday season! Our second and last Holiday Market will be happening same time and place on Saturday, Dec. 1st (right before the Christmas parade!).

The Market is open! We need your help…This is the last week to order pesticide-free Christmas trees and wreaths. Spread the word and let your friends and neighbors know that these are available to pre-order through the Online Market. All proceeds go to fund this lovely little Market we’re all so proud of! Trees and wreaths will be available for pickup at either of our upcoming Winter Markets (Nov. 23rd or Dec. 1st), but you HAVE to pre-order this year, no extras!

This is a fundraiser for the Farmers Market and we appreciate all of your support! Just a reminder, in the past, we have sold extra trees on the Winter Market days, this year, we’re only selling pre-orders!

A friendly civic reminder, if you aren’t able to vote on Tuesday, fill out an absentee application at your county Registrar’s office in the courthouse. If you don’t have a photo I.D., you can get one for free at the Registrar’s office. You can vote absentee in-person using a voting machine in the Registrar’s office. Curbside voting and accessible equipment are available if you request them.
