Whoops!
The springtime rush apparently just got the better of us. Michelle just called from on the road to a morning meeting with VA SoFresh, followed by tonight’s meeting of the Appalachian Farmers Market Association meeting in Bristol. We were busy getting her off to the Growers Conference in Asheville over the weekend that we forgot to turn the online market on Friday evening. Soo, the market is now enabled for this week, please forgive the delay and support our vendors. I hear the rooster telling me to hurry down and take care of his charge, let’s hope spring is arriving. I will be glad to see the end of February! Thank you for looking at the weather forecast and choosing to stay home this past week. Between the snow and cold temperatures, it was nice not to have to worry about trying to schedule a safe delivery and pickup for everyone. By the way, I tried Tammy’s recipe for egg noodles and they were fabulous! I have to admit to borrowing a pasta machine from Emi, but we had a blast making and eating the noodles. Look for a pasta making demonstration at the Market this season.
