Welcome back and Happy Summer!

The On-line Market is back open and ready for business!

We are pleased to announce the opening of the New Wednesday evening Farmers Market starting Wednesday, June 15th, from 4-7.

The on-line market will open every Wednesday at 7pm and will close on Mondays at 8pm. Orders placed each week can be picked up on Wednesdays from 5-7 at the Wednesday market!

We are so happy to be back at it and excited for this extra opportunity to shop local for amazing products!

I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for such an awesome winter online season!!

The On-line Market will re-open for orders on June 8th and orders can be picked up on June 15 at our NEW Wednesday Farmers Market at Town Park!! We’re so excited to be adding on the Wednesday Market, giving you an extra opportunity for shopping with your local farmers!

The Wednesday Farmers Market hours will be from 4-7 and the on-line pickup will be from 5-7.

Until then, enjoy the Outdoor Farmers Market starting May 13th at Town Park!!!

Hey to all our Market Friends,

With all the excitement of warm weather and the Out-door Market opening soon, time has slipped away from us!!

This is the LAST week for the On-line market! Friday, May 6th will be our LAST pickup day until the On-line market re-opens, in June!

Be sure and place those orders before 8pm this Wednesday for orders to be picked up Friday, May 6th! Make sure to include an order to help support the GCHS CATE Center!! These kids work hard to deliver some delicious treats!! The Lemon Olive Oil cake was devoured at last weeks market pickup! It was a HIT!!!

Don’t forget to join in on the opening of the Outdoor Market in Town Park May 13th from 9-1!!! Everyone is pumped up for a great season!!

The NEW Wednesday evening market will begin on June 15th from 4-7! The On-line market will open back on June 8th for orders to be picked up June 15th from 5-7! Double the ordering opportunity for great local products!!!

*May 6th will be Farm to Table dinner hosted by the Independence Farmers Market! Visit blueridgediscoverycenter.org and follow the links to order your ticket now! *

*Also, there is only a couple more weeks before the on-line market shuts down and the out-door market opens May 13th! *

Be sure and get those orders in for Mothers’ Day! There are some gorgeous flower baskets for the special lady in your life!

Upcoming On-line Market Changes

Hey Friends,

I apologize for the extra blog, but had an error in the weblog yesterday on the dates for the market changes (could have been April Fools :)

There are a lot of exciting things that are happening for the Independence Farmers Market this Summer!

The On-line Market will be continuing this summer but will move to Wednesday evenings! To get things organized and ready for this transition, we will be taking a break beginning May 7th, after the last regular Friday pickup in our new location at 110 Courthouse St.

The NEW on-line market pickup days will be on Wednesday evenings from 5-7pm, with the FIRST pickup starting on June 15th! (Ordering will re-open on Wednesday, June 8th, and close at 8pm on Monday June 13th) The pickup location will be at Town Park, instead of at our new office location.

That is also the GRAND OPENING of the NEW Wednesday evening Market at Town Park from 4-7pm. We hope you will enjoy this extra shopping opportunity!

No need to worry, while the On-line Market is closed, you will still be able to shop for all your favorites at the regular Friday Farmers Market which opens May 13th!!
