Market is OPEN for Dec. 11th pickup!

*

Good evening,

Time to place your Market order. If what you’re looking for isn’t up tonight, be sure to check back later in the week. If you pre-ordered a tree or wreath, remember to pick it up at our Holiday Market this Saturday from 11-2 in Town Park!

We’re excited to have Pulaski Grow! back with the Online Market. For those that aren’t familiar with this awesome organization, they grow most of their produce aquaponically (think hydroponics, but with fish waste as fertilizer!). They also serve the community as a youth training center where high school and middle school students in the area can get important job training skills.

When preparing for the holidays this year, keep in mind our last market before Christmas will be on Dec. 18th. There will be no Online Market on Dec. 25th. We will also be closed the following Wednesday which falls on New Year’s Day. The Market will
“open” for new orders on Jan. 1st and pickup will be on January 8th. Be sure to stock up now!

Southern Fork Farm now has chicken available for purchase in the freezer at the Grayson Landcare office with out a pre-order!

To Shop: Independence Farmers Market.

The Farmers Market is back in Town Park Saturday, December 7 from 11 am to 2 pm for our 2nd Winter Market and Chili Cook-off. Enjoy free kids activities, shop for delicious local products and beautiful crafts and stay for the Parade and Town activities. The New River Bell ensemble will offer hot cider for donation and offer live and recorded music. Be sure to enter or judge the Chili Cook-off. A $5 ticket lets you taste all the chili and vote for your favorite, we had a dozen entries last year, so it’s a bargain.

Thank you for supporting the Independence Farmers Market!
