The Market is open for new orders! Eat what you can now and freeze or can the rest for Winter! Check out our website to learn three different ways to win $100 over the next few weeks!

We’d like to welcome Southern Fork Farm to both the Online and Town Park Markets! Out of Sugar Grove, Virginia, they are providing us with a variety of produce, chicken and eggs! We’d also like to welcome Kerri Porter of Porter’s Pickles to the Online Market! Our customers are loving her refrigerated dill pickles! Check out all of our Online Vendors under the Our Growers section on the Online Market!

Upcoming Events:

The Berry Festival is happening THIS Friday, July 19th! It will feature a berry pie contest, free berry tasting and a berry sorbet fundraiser for the Market. River Ridge Organics is our co-host and The Grayson County Historical Society sponsors the Traditional Berry pie contest, 1st place is $100! Enjoy sorbet by the bowl or frozen pint.. It’s a tasty way to support the Market!The Kids Corner will offer a berry tasting and will use their beautiful, vibrant colors to paint 10-11 am.

July ends with a new event, JAM Day on July 26th. The Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM) will perform at the Market from 11 am to noon. Everyone is invited to enter the jam contest. The public will taste and vote for the People’s Choice award. The jam contest is sponsored by Log Jam who will be demonstrating their portable sawmill at the Market. The Kids Corner will be celebrating “Jam Day” by making instruments out of recyclables from 10-11 am. And to top it off, Take a Break from the Interstate Highway 21 yard sale begins on the 26th. Vendors will be offering yard sale items in addition to fresh local food and artisan crafts.

LandCare Rocks the River is happening on Sunday, July 28th from 1-7 pm. Held on the banks of the New River in Fries, features rock, soul, and folk music, craft brews, great food, a festival atmosphere with craft vendors and kids fun activities, the event has something for everyone! Bring a blanket or chair and hang out at the River!
