Market is OPEN for August 1st pickup!

Good evening!

I cannot believe that August begins next week! Talk about a fast summer! Just a reminder about our new promotion, find a new customer to shop on the Market, have them put your name in the “Comments” section when they place their first order and you get a free market bag!

Thank you so much for your generous donations to the Market! We’re up to $865! Just a couple more weeks of asking and this fundraising campaign is all over until next year! Seriously though, when our grant funding ran out last year, we weren’t sure how we were going to proceed, but you have all stepped up and we can’t profess our gratitude enough!

To Donate: IFM Go Fund ME!.

To Shop: Independence Farmers Market.

Upcoming Events:

This weekend is the Highway 21 yard sale! Some of our vendors may be participating AND Chef Jen is making TACOS (all taco proceeds go to the Independence Farmers Market!). At the Kid’s Corner, we’ll be making garden creations. Bring the kids out from 10-11 am and watch them get creative!

LandCare Rocks the River is happening THIS Sunday, July 29th! With three bands, kids activities, food trucks, Fries Farmers Market Vendors and Creek Bottom Brews, it’s going to be a rockin’ good time! Please spread the word!

Firday, August 3rd will be our Tomato Festival! We’ll have a largest tomato competition as well as a salsa competition! Stay tuned for more details!

Saturday, August 11th, for the first time ever, an agricultural fair will be part of the popular Grayson County youth livestock show! Enter your produce, baked and canned goods and win ribbons. View agriculture exhibits, enjoy local food and more. Help make this event a success and watch us grow next year! More details here.

Thank you all so much for your continued support of the Independence Farmers Market!
