We’re trying something new on the online market! We’ll be auctioning off an item handcrafted by one of our market artisans each month! This month our auction item is a fabulous canning jar tray handcrafted by Scott Jackson-Ricketts and Lukas Burgher. The tray is approximately 20" long, 14" wide, 3" tall. Be sure to look at the “Auction Items” section on the market for a picture and more information.

Upcoming Events:

We have a fun and busy day at our outdoor market this week! Join us Friday for the first of ONLY 2 Fiber Days this year! This is a great opportunity to purchase yarns, roving, raw fiber, baskets, and an array of knit, woven, and felted goods. Come and meet the artisans who often raise the animals providing fiber for the handmade items in their booths. Feel free to ask questions about farming with sheep, goats, alpacas, and rabbits, and see demonstrations of how raw fiber is turned into usable products.be sure to put the next Fiber Day on your calendar, August 5.

The KID’S CORNER will be open at the market this Friday between 10 am and 11 am! Bring all the kids you know and celebrate another great market season! We’ll be planting a three sisters guild and tasting locally grown cherries!

Thank you for supporting the Independence Farmers Market!
