Laurel Springs Beef starts and ends local, right here in Marion, VA – which sets us apart from our competition.
Roots run deep on the Umbarger farm, since 1909 to be exact. In 1922, Laurel Springs opened their parlor doors becoming Smyth County’s oldest dairy, supplying milk, cream and cheese to local patrons. Five generations later, the Umbargers are still working the land and caring for livestock. Seth Umbarger, Laurel Springs Beef current owner, and his father Everette, converted the dairy into a beef operation in 2013. Today, Seth’s wife Courtney, and their three children also help manage the farm.
Laurel Springs Beef is an all natural, farm raised, premium beef product, fed a 100% vegetarian diet and never administered antibiotics, hormones or steroids. All beef is USDA inspected, minimally processed with no artificial or added ingredients.
