Market is OPEN for Nov. 14th and OPEN HOUSE!

*

Good evening,

The Market is open! We need your help…This is the last week to order pesticide-free Christmas trees and wreaths. Spread the word and let your friends and neighbors know that these are available to pre-order through the Online Market. All proceeds go to fund this lovely little Market we’re all so proud of! Trees and wreaths will be available for pickup at either of our upcoming Winter Markets (Nov. 23rd or Dec. 1st), but you HAVE to pre-order this year, no extras!

To Shop: Independence Farmers Market.

Please join us Wednesday, Nov. 14th from 4-6 pm here at the Grayson Landcare office for our Holiday Open House. Sample some locally made products and meet some vendors! You can also place your tree and wreath orders if you forget to order them Online this week. We’re partnering with the Twin County Chamber of Commerce so you’ll also have the opportunity to meet Chamber Director Beth Dixon and learn more about the Chamber of Commerce here in the Twin Counties.

This is a great opportunity to meet some of our vendors and sample some delicious products, just in time for the holidays! Feel free to stop by even if you don’t place an order to pick up that week!

A friendly civic reminder, if you aren’t able to vote on Tuesday, fill out an absentee application at your county Registrar’s office in the courthouse. If you don’t have a photo I.D., you can get one for free at the Registrar’s office. You can vote absentee in-person using a voting machine in the Registrar’s office. Curbside voting and accessible equipment are available if you request them.

Laura Wright, of Heaven on Earth Farm, has asked me to let you all know that most of her chickens were taken out by dogs this past week. She really appreciates all of her customers and hopes to be back up and running next Spring. We’re so sorry for your losses, Laura! That being said, she does have five survivors that she would like to re-home. These hens are available for purchase and are still laying daily. Please contact Laura if you are interested, scottandlaurawright@gmail.com.

Keep in mind that our Online Market Open House will be happening on November 14th here at the Grayson Landcare office from 4-6 pm. We’ll have several vendors set up with samples and products to purchase. Rumor has it, we may even have ice cream so don’t miss out on this fun day!
