The Apple Festival (and our last outdoor Market of the year) is coming up this Friday, October 12th. There will be a free community cider pressing. Apple cider will also be available to purchase, all proceeds go to the Independence Farmers Market. We’ll also have an apple dessert contest. 1st place prize, $100, second place, $30, and third place, $20! Be sure to have your dessert at the Market no later than 10:15 am on the day of.
